Senator Orie Offers Free Tax Service for Senior Citizens

HARRISBURG – Sen. Jane Orie (R-Allegheny) is offering free income tax preparation assistance to senior citizens in Room 307 of the Arcadia Center located at 9401 McKnight Road in Pittsburgh.

"We provide this service every year to seniors who may have questions when filling out their federal, state or local tax returns," Orie said.  "It's been extremely popular, and I urge seniors to take advantage of it."

The service will be available by appointment only on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:15 am to 3:15 pm, Wednesdays from 1 pm to 3:15 pm, Thursdays from 8:15 am to 10:30 am, and Fridays from 8:15 am to 11:15 am.

Sen. Orie's North Hills office is taking appointments immediately.  Seniors who are interested in the service can schedule an appointment by contacting Audrey Rasmussen at (412) 630-9466.
