40th Senatorial District

Senator Jane Clare Orie is serving her second term representing the citizens of the 40th Senatorial District. Pennsylvania has a total of 50 State Senators of which each Senator represents approximately 250,000 constituents.

The 40th Senatorial district includes parts of ALLEGHENY COUNTY consisting of the Townships of Hampton, Marshall, McCandless, Pine, Richland, Ross, Shaler, West Deer and the Boroughs of Bradford Woods, Etna, Franklin Park and West View; and parts of BUTLER COUNTY consisting of the Townships of Adams, Buffalo, Clinton, Connoquenessing, Cranberry, Forward, Jackson, Middlesex and Penn and the Boroughs of Callery, Connoquenessing, Evans City, Harmony, Mars, Seven Fields, Valencia and Zelienople.
