Alternative Energy Investment Fund The General Assembly recently approved, and the governor signed into law, Special Session Act 1 of 2008, the Alternative Energy Investment Fund. This initiative will provide $650 million to help consumers take advantage of alternative technologies to make their homes more efficient, saving both energy and money.
