Port Authority Public Hearing & Public Comment Period
Riders and community members will have the opportunity to comment on proposed fare and service changes during Port Authority's public comment period and public hearing.
Public Comment Period:
Sunday, February 5, 2012 through Friday, March 9, 2012 at 4 p.m.
Comments on the proposals will be accepted online (please check back here soon for a link to the comment form) or by mail at:

Individuals wishing to testify are encouraged to pre-register by calling 412-566-5437 (TTY: 412-231-7007) from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays. Oral testimony will be limited to three minutes per speaker.

Those who have not pre-registered may register at the hearing and will be called on as time slots become available. Port Authority will provide a sign language interpreter at the hearing as well as Braille copies of informational documents.

Call for Applications:
Applications for this year's scholarship will be handled by our scholarship management software this year. The application process will be straighforward since the software handles everything. ALCOSAN, Allegheny County Sanitary Authority, will be hosting public information meetings to address the current sewer overflow issue. The purpose of the meeting is to explain the issue to residents and to explain the federal environmental and public health laws that ALCOSAN must comply with.
